The Leader Institute with NXTgen Illinois is inviting Marion conservatives to attend the Effingham Candidate Development training to be held at the Holiday Inn, 1301 Avenue of Mid-America Effingham, IL 62401.
It will be an eight-hour workshop to start at 8:30 a.m on Saturday, Feb. 6.
Will County Republicans have always believed that a candidate will win many more elections by working smart and hard. Through this workshop, Republicans can learn how to be strategic with campaigns and the right way to work hard.
The workshop will also help attendees determine if they are ready to run.
The Candidate Development workshop will present Effingham Republican candidates some of the tools that they need when considering a political path, including communicating effectively with voters, grassroots voter contact, the science of persuasion, and campaign budgeting.
The training topics will be discussed by national experts from the Leadership Institute.
