Opening The Regular Meeting of the Vienna Public School District #55 Board of Education was called to order by Mrs. Sherie Smith, President, at 6:00 p.m. with the following members present:

Adopt Tax Levy Motion by Betts seconded by Borders to adopt 2021 the tax levy as presented. Roll call. Voting yes: Borders, Trovillion, Yadloski, Hook, Smith, Betts. Voting no: none. Motion carried.
Closed Session Motion by Trovillion seconded by Hook to go in to closed session at 6:40 p.m. to discuss (1) the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of employees of the District or legal counsel for the District including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee of the District or against legal counsel of the District, to determine its validity. Roll call. Voting yes: Borders, Trovillion, Yadloski, Hook, Smith, Betts. Voting no: none. Motion carried.

Snow Removal Bid Motion by Betts seconded by Trovillion ok to approve the snow removal service bid of Jeff Simmons for snow removal services for the 2021-22 school year, as presented. Roll call. Voting yes: Borders, Trovillion, Yadloski, Hook, Smith, Betts. Voting no: none. Motion carried.
Accept Fuel Bid Motion by Borders seconded by Hook to accept the Southern FS bus fuel bid for Dieselex bus fuel @ $2.6269 a gallon and regular bus fuel @ $2.5221 a gallon for the period between December 2021 and November 2022. Roll call. Voting yes: Borders, Trovillion, Hook, Smith, Betts. Voting no: none. Abstaining: Yadloski. Motion carried.
Dr. Frehner presented a tentative calendar for the 2022-23 school year.
Employment Motion by Betts seconded by Trovillion to employ Danielle Norton as an as-needed individual aide for the 2021-22 school year. Roll call. Voting yes: Borders, Trovillion, Yadloski, Hook, Smith, Betts. Voting no: none. Motion carried.

Other Dr. Frehner thanked the Board for the Christmas party and the $250 stipend for the employees. And he wished them a merry Christmas. Mrs. Smith read a thank-you card from Kerry Denny, teacher, thanking the Board for the $250, the poinsettia, and all the other things they have done for the school this year.
