Census Bureau: 65.3 percent of people in Buncombe were old enough to vote in 2019

Of the 242 citizens living in Buncombe in 2019, 158 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 93 of those people were female and 65 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
