Motion to accept/reject the request for road closure from 5th Street to 3rd Street on Lincoln on Thursday, June 24th , 2021 between the hours of 10:30 am - 1 :00 pm with additional times prior to and following for set up and clean up. Request is from Hope Unlimited for the purpose of a Block Party to also include the Massac Co. Housing Authority.
Motion to accept/reject road closure on Front Street from Metropolis Street to Frelinghuysen for Friday, July 2nd to host the 4th of July fireworks
Amend Motion from March 8th for Superman Road Closure from July 29th - August 1st to July 28th - August 1st to allow time to set up.
Motion to accept/reject the purchase of Pool Supplies in the amount of $5,222.00 from Spear Corp (Chlorine $3,312 and Acid $1,910)
Southern Seven Health Department (S7HD) is announcing beginning on Monday, it will now accept walk-ins at their COVID-19 vaccine clinics spread throughout the S 7 region.
The walk-in vaccinations will be limited to the first 100 people in priority groups IA, lB, of lB+ based on available vaccine supplies for that day. Walk-ins will be accepted between 1 0am and 4pm at S7's mass vaccination sites.
ORDER UP - Another food give away is being held this Friday at Fort Massac State Park beginning at 11 am. Participants are asked to use the entrance across from McDonalds by the Superman billboard and continue to the Visitors Center - Laborer's Local Union 773 & the City of Metropolis & IDNR
