Q1 2020 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Alexander County?

There were four offenders released on parole during the first quarter of 2020 that live in Alexander County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Southern Illinois News.

The data shows that three men and one woman were released in Alexander County. The median age of the parolees was 36. The youngest parolee was a 21-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving one or more weapons in 2018, and the oldest was a 49-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving one or more weapons in 2019.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Deloyd D. Davis Sr. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2017 when he was 45 years old. He is now 49.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the first quarter of 2020 in each Alexander County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
