Q4 2018 Recap: Parolees in Pulaski County convicted of homicide

There was an offender convicted of homicide released on parole in Pulaski County during the fourth quarter of 2018, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the Southern Illinois News.

The data shows that the released offender was a man. He was convicted in 2011 when he was 29 years old. He is now 37.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The following table shows how many offenders convicted of homicide were paroled during the fourth quarter of 2018 in each Illinois county.
