Johnson County Sheriff's Office issued the following announcement on Dec. 4.
It's official! Pete Sopczak has been sworn in as our new Sheriff. Congrats Pete!!! We are happy to have you lead our department and be part of our family. I truly believe the county will not be disappointed. Now your stuck with us for at least 4 years
