1. The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees, specific individuals who serve as independent contractors in a park, recreational, or educational setting, or specific volunteers of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee, a specific individual who serves as an independent contractor in a park, recreational, or educational setting, or a volunteer of the public body or against legal counsel for the public body to determine its validity. However, a meeting to consider an increase in compensation to a specific employee of a public body that is subject to the Local Government Wage Increase Transparency Act may not be closed and shall be open to the public and posted and held in accordance with this Act. (10) The placement of individual students in special education programs and other matters relating to individual students.

12.b. Approve the superintendent contract for the 2026 through 2030 school year as presented.

12.c. Approve hiring Danny McFarland as Girls Basketball head coach

12.d. Approve hiring Juan Valencia as the Assistant boys basketball coach.

12.e. Approve Blake Pena and Ethan Klett as volunteer boys basketball coaches.

12.f. Issue decision regarding policy 2:260 complaint

12.g. Approve the superintendent to write for the 2025-2026 maintenance grant as presented.

12.h. Approve resignation of Assistant Volleyball coach

12.i. Approve hiring new Assistant Volleyball coach.

12.j. Approve the resolution in support of Vision 2030 along with Illinois Association of School Administrators (IASA), Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB), Illinois Principals’ Association (IPA), Illinois Association of School Business Officials (IASBO), Illinois Association of Regional Superintendents of Schools (IARSS), Superintendents’ Commission for the Study of Demographics and Diversity (SCSDD), Illinois Alliance of Special Education Administrators (IAASE), and the Association of Illinois Rural and Small Schools (AIRSS).
