Akin Community Consolidated School District 91 Board of Education met July. 28.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

1. CALL TO ORDER:

Present: K. Pemberton, J. Wilkerson, T. Seddon, S. Wilson, S. Sniderwin, and J. Carlton

Absent: T. Sullivan

2. Audience Participation: (limited to 10 minutes total unless extended by the board).

Heather Barclay – Read her retirement letter

3. A motion is made by K. Pemberton to enter into a closed session for the purpose of considering information regarding Collective Bargaining, the appointment, evaluation, performance, employment, and/or dismissal of personnel and student disciplinary actions.

Closed Session began at 6:06 p.m.

J. Carlton made a motion to end the closed session at 7:16 p.m.

5.* A motion is made by T. Seddon to approve a Consent Agenda; which includes: the regular board of education minutes from previous meeting/s, the treasurer’s report/activity fund report and to approve the bills to be paid as presented.
