Commissioners in attendance were Max Miller, Kent Pitts and Darryl Harvell. Commissioners absent were Brandon Bierstedt and David Gould
II. CALL MEETING TO ORDER
The Union County Board of Commissioners met for a regular meeting in the Union County Courthouse Community Room at 08:30am. County Chairman Max Miller called the meeting to order.
III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Commissioner Kent Pitts made a motion to approve the regular meeting minutes from 05.23.2025. Darryl Harvell seconded the motion.

V. COMMITTEE REPORTS
Commissioner Harvell noted the next Southern Five Regional Planning Commission meeting will be 07/08/2025 at 5:30pm in Ullin, IL.
Pitts reported the donations are always appreciated at the Animal Control. Animal Control Facility will have an Open House/ribbon cutting on Saturday, June 21st from noon - 3pm.

VII. OLD BUSINESS
a. Ordinance Amending Article 1 of Chapter 18 of the Union County Code of Ordinances regarding Food and Sanitation

X. OTHER BUSINESS
Taxes went out yesterday, June 12, 2025 with the first installment due July 24, 2025 and the second installment due September 24, 2025. This is on track with previous years.
