City of Metropolis City Council met April 14.

Here is the agenda provided by the council:

a) Motion to approve/reject payment to Crockett Howard Properties, LLC (106 West 7th St.) for the completed Business Improvement Grant project (new windows) in the amount of $1,890.00.

b) Motion to approve/reject payment to Crockett Howard Properties, LLC (619 Ferry St.) for the completed Business Improvement Grant project (new windows) in the amount of $1,890.00.

c) Motion to approve/reject payment to Kayla Quint (Friends and Company) for a completed Business Improvement Grant project (exterior paint) in the amount of $1,862.50.

d) Motion to approve/reject road closure from the entrance at Superman Square, down to 6th Street, near the Lois Lane Statue, and closing the entrances from each side street at 6th, 7th, and 8th streets on Saturday, September 13th from 3-9 PM for Project Hope’s Car Cruise.

e) Motion to approve/reject payment to Moran Economic Development, LLC in the amount of $16,438.00 out of TIF funds.

f) Motion to approve/reject payment to Josh Reagor for Phase 1 & 5 of his TIF Redevelopment Agreement in the amount of $43,615.03.

g) Motion to approve/reject purchase from Municipal Equipment Co, Inc. in the amount of $12,750.00 + freight for Enaqua UV bulbs for the Waste Water Treatment Plant.

h) Motion to approve/reject purchase from SmartGuard in the amount totaling $25,967.50 for electric meters for the Light Department.

i) Motion to approve/reject the request to increase width of improved alley surface for ingress/egress access as granted by City of Metropolis for Huck’s Market #111 by Ryan Teitloff (BFW Marcum Engineering & Consulting).

· CORPORATE COUNSEL REPORT

a) Adopt An Ordinance Amending Title IX, Chapter 90, Animals, Of The Code Of Metropolis To Revise A Section 90.05, Prohibition Of Livestock And Non-Domesticated Animals Within City Limits.
