A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request was submitted to the Anna Community Consolidated School District 37 on January 28, 2025. The request, made by Southern Illinois News, sought copies of all emails and memos from the past year that contained specific keywords.
The requested documents are those that include the terms “Lucy Calkins” and “Units of Study”. The news organization is seeking these records under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140, and has asked for them in an electronic format.
