City of Anna City Council met April 22.

Here are the minutes provided by the council:

The Anna City council met in special session at Anna City Hall at 4:00 p.m. on April 22, 2024. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Steve Hartline. The roll call went as follows: Present were Commissioner Michael Bigler, Commissioner Kathy Bryan, Commissioner Torie Carter, Commissioner Martha Ann Webb and Mayor Steve Hartline. Other members present were City Administrator Dori Bigler, City Treasurer Angela Webb, Human Resources Administrator Melanie McReynolds, and City Attorney Rhett Barke.

Mayor Hartline opened the floor to the public communications portion of the agenda.

THE ANNA CITY COUNCIL RESOLVED TO ENTER INTO CLOSED SESSION AT 4:06PM. PERSUANT TO 5 ILCS120/2(C)(1).

Open session resumed at 5:57 p.m. and roll call went as follows: Present were Commissioner Michael Bigler, Commissioner Kathy Bryan, Commissioner Torie Carter, Commissioner Martha Ann Webb, and Mayor Steve Hartline. Other members present were City Administrator Dori Bigler, City Treasurer Angela Webb, Human Resources Administrator Melanie McReynolds, and City Attorney Rhett Barke.

A motion was made by Commissioner Carter and seconded by Commissioner Bryan that it be RESOLVED TO TABLE THE OLD BUSINESS OF RESOLUTIONS 2024-13, 2024-14, AND 2024-15. A vote was taken upon the motion with the following results. Commissioner Bigler, Commissioner Bryan, Commissioner Carter, Commissioner Webb and Mayor Hartline voted yea. Nay – none. Mayor Hartline declared the motion carried.

A motion was made by Commissioner Bryan and seconded by Commissioner Bigler that it be RESOLVED THAT THE REGULAR SESSION ON THE ANNA CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF APRIL 22, 2024 BE ADJOURNED AT 5:59 P.M. A vote was taken upon the motion with the following results. Commissioner Bigler, Commissioner Bryan, Commissioner Carter, Commissioner Webb and Mayor Hartline voted yea. Nay – none. Mayor Hartline declared the motion carried.
