City of Metropolis City Council met March 25.

b) Motion to approve or reject the purchase of a new valve exerciser for the Water Department in the amount of $17,200.00.

c) Motion to approve or reject the appointment of Penny Emery to the Library Board of Trustees for a two-year term to fill an expired term.

d) Motion to approve or reject the appointment of Katie Eller to the Library Board of Trustees for a three-year term to fill an expired term.

e) Motion to approve or reject the appointment of Letitia Brazell to the Library Board of Trustees for a three-year term to fill an expired term.

f) Motion to accept/reject road closure of Market Street from the Superman Statue to 6th St for MCDAC’s Prevent Child Abuse Event on 4/18/24 from 2 PM to 5 PM.
