City of Metropolis City Council met Feb. 26.

a) Motion to approve or reject the appointment of Gregg Jeffords to the Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals for a one-year term to fill a vacancy.

b) Motion to approve or reject the appointment of Max Russell to the Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals for a one-year term to fill a vacancy.

c) Motion to approve or reject the appointment of Matt Steinmetz to the Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals for a three-year term to fill a vacancy.

d) Motion to accept/reject road closure of Market Street between 5th Street and 8th Street on April 6th at 5pm to April 8th at 5pm.

e) Motion to accept/reject road closure of 1st Street from Frelinghuysen to the Lighthouse for City of Metropolis on April 8th.

II. Adopt an Ordinance Authorizing The City Of Metropolis, Massac County, Illinois To Borrow Funds From The Water Pollution Control Loan Program in the amount of $18,000,000.00.
