2021 has 3.9% of Johnson County residents unemployed

Johnson County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.9% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 169 people out of the 13,238 living in Johnson County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Johnson County has increased compared to the 3.7% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Johnson County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 6.2%.

Everyone who had a job at the time belonged to the civilian labor force.
