Mandated Training Requirements - State law requires newly elected board members to receive training in: Open Meetings Act (OMA), Professional Development Leadership Training (PDLT), and Performance Evaluation Reform Act (PERA). Re-elected board members without a break in service that have already met the training requirements should be exempt from these training requirements.
