Q2 2022 Recap: 1 parolee from Massac County convicted of crimes against justice set for release

There was one offender convicted of a crime against justice living in Massac County released on parole during the second quarter of 2022, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the Southern Illinois News.

The data shows the released offender was a man. He was convicted in 2021 when he was 38 years old. He is now 40.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The following table shows how many offenders convicted of crimes against justice were paroled during the second quarter of 2022 in each Illinois county.
