Women’s Bowling Battles 66-Team Field at Columbia 300 Hoosier Classic

McKendree University women's bowling faced 66 teams in the Columbia 300 Hoosier Classic this past weekend in Indianapolis, Ind. The Bearcats met some challenging opponents to finish 44th overall.

The two-day event began with six team games in which the Bearcats recorded a total pinfall of 5,399. Part two of the tournament featured 15 baker games. In the 15 games, McKendree collected 2,510 pins to push its total pinfall to 7,909.

The Bearcats did not advance in the top eight to the bracket round, but were awarded 44th place overall to conclude the tournament.

Leading the way for McKendree was junior Dominique Donegan who finished 77th individually. Donegan tallied a total pinfall of 1,172, averaging 195.3 pins per game.

Coming up, the Bearcats will compete at the USBC Sectionals held on March 10-12.
