New Simpson Hill Community School District 32 Board of Education met Nov. 9.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

President Hoffard called the regular board meeting of November 09, 2022, to order at 6:00PM. Present were: Hoffard, Mize, Ross, Hill, Widowski, Treat, and Baity.

Administration present: Mr. Nighswander and Ms. Yandell Visitors: Pam Rizkallah

Motion by Hill seconded by Treat to approve the regular and budget hearing minutes of the 10-13-22 board meetings, carried.

Motion by Mize seconded by Hill to approve the financial report as presented and payment of the bills as listed in the amount of $46,407., carried.

ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS: Enrollment Report; Mobility Report; Calendar; IASB packet; emails

Motion by Treat seconded by Widowski to approve the FY23 New Simpson Hill Risk Management Program, carried.

Motion by Hill seconded by Mize to approve the tentative levy as presented, carried.

Motion by Widowski seconded by Mize to approve the FY23 School Maintenance Grant as presented, carried.

Motion by Treat seconded by Widowski to approve the School Report Card as presented, carried.

Motion by Treat seconded by Baity to authorize the Superintendent to seek prices for diesel fuel, carried.

Motion by Widowski seconded by Treat to convene to closed session at 7:38 PM to discuss:

Appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employee of the District or legal counsel for the District, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee or against legal counsel for the District to determine its validity. 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1)

carried.

Motion by Widowski seconded by Treat to resume open session at 8:15 PM, carried.

Motion by Hill seconded by Widowski to adjourn, carried.
