In an Oct. 18 Facebook post, Sen. Terri Bryant shared her visit to a Hispanic American Construction Industry event. Bryant has been diligent in chronicling her activities on social media, also making note of a celebration she had with a local grocery store owner and taking the time to promote a meeting she is having with youth leaders.
In the June 28, 2022, election, Bryant ran unopposed in her attempt to represent the citizens of District 58.
"I was pleased to be invited to attend this awesome event in Chicago last week" Bryant said. "I fully support their efforts and look forward to continuing to ensure businesses of all sizes see an improved business climate in this state going forward."
She also revealed that she had the chance to celebrate Joe Koppeis, owner/operator of Groceries of Southern Illinois.
“I am in Chicago today celebrating with the Illinois Retail Merchants Association as they honor our very own Joe Koppeis,” Sen. Terri Bryant (R-Murphysboro) wrote on Facebook.
Bryant has also revealed that she will hold a Youth Advisory Council meeting on Wednesday, October 26 taking place at the Du Quion Fairgrounds. Students wanting to participate in the event need to email Paige Buente at pbuente@sgop.ilga.gov.
