Alden-Hebron Community Consolidated Unit School District #19 Board of Education met June 1.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

President Norton called the meeting of the Board of Education of Alden-Hebron Community Consolidated Unit School District #19 to order at 7:00 p.m.

Roll Call

PRESENT: Mr. Norton, Mrs. Smith, , Mrs. Johnson (left at 7:35), Mr. Winkelman ABSENT: Mr. Madsen (in at 6:30), Mr. Eskridge, Mr. Berg (in at 6:56)

ALSO PRESENT:

Tiffany Elswick-Superintendent, Ray Stalker

PRESENT REMOTE:

Jill Huskisson, Dash J Consulting (left at 7:53)

CORRESPONDENCE:

Thank you note from Teresa Eick-George and Tim George for the retirement gathering, gifts, and kind words as they retire from teaching at Alden-Hebron.

Mrs. Smith moved; Mr. Winkelman seconded to approve the Consent Agenda as presented.

COMMUNICATIONS

Public: Mr. Stalker wondered how many of District 19’s parents are on the tax roll. Staff: None

Board:

• Mrs. Smith thanked Mr. Berg, Mrs. Johnson, and Mrs. Elswick for the work they’ve done on community outreach.

• Mr. Madsen shared that a former employee, Mrs. Adrianna Stull passed away due to cancer this past week.

Adjournment

Mrs. Smith moved; Mr. Berg seconded to adjourn the meeting at 8:00pm. Motion carried.
