Governors State University Athletics has released its Honor Roll for the 2022 Spring Term. A total 53 active athletes were named to either the Athletics Honor Roll or the High Honor Roll. The Honor Roll features student-athletes with a grade-point averages of 3.00 or higher while the High Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes with GPAs of 3.50 or higher.
Ten student-athletes recorded straight A's during the semester: Angelique Cowan, Simon Hintenaus, Zoie Langlois, Lotte Miller, Ivana Novakovic, Elizabeth Rios, Alyssa Rosales, Kaycee Sain, Sedona Smith and Mallorie Williams.

GSU Athletics also announced its Iron Man and Iron Woman Academic Award winners. The Iron Academic Awards recognize student-athletes with above average credit hours earned combined with GPA excellence for that term. The Iron Woman Award winner was soccer player Zoie Langlois while the Iron Man Award went to Simon Hintenaus for a second-straight term.
