Cypress Elementary School Board of Education met Sept. 27.

The Cypress Elementary School Board of Education meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by Board President Angela Rudluff. 

Moore, present; Oliver, present; Penrod, present; J.Schultz, absent; M. Schultz, Rudluff, present; West, present; Superintendent Shoemaker, present 

Visitors Present: Rusty Marks 

Motion by West seconded by Oliver to approve the minutes of the August 17th , 2021 Board Meeting. All present voted yes. 

Motion by Moore seconded by Penrod to approve the treasurer's report for August 2021. Moore, yes; Oliver, yest; Penrod, yes; J Schultz, yes; M Schultz, yes; Rudluff, yes; West, yes 

Motion by West seconded by M. Schultz to approve the bills for September 2021.

Motion by Oliver seconded by West to destroy executive session audio tapes older than 18 months per the school code.

Motion made by Oliver seconded by Penrod at 7:11 pm to adjourn to close session for Adjournment (Action Item) 5 ILCS 120/2 

● The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the District or legal counsel for the District, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee or against legal counsel for the District to determine its validity. 5 ILCS 120/2 (c)(1).
