Massac Memorial Hospital issued the following announcement on Dec. 7
Last week, Lennis Thompson, MMH CEO presented awards to our 2021 Christmas Card contest winners! Nevaeh Welch, 6th Grade at Metropolis Elementary received the overall prize of $250 and had her design turned into the hospital's Christmas card! Lennis also presented the MES art program $250 to continue to encourage students to develop their gifts and talents.
Also pictured are the individual grade winners. They each received $75.
1st Grade Winner: Maddox Russell – Brookport Elementary
2nd Grade Winner: MaKynlee Johnson – Franklin Elementary
3rd Grade Winner: Harper Finley – Unity Elementary
4th Grade Winner: Ella Searles – Unity Elementary
5th Grade Winner: Madison Goines – MES
6th Grade Winner: Katie Bishop – Franklin Elementary
