Q2 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Alexander County?

There were five offenders living in Alexander County released on parole during the second quarter of 2021, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Southern Illinois News.

The data shows all of the released offenders in Alexander County were men. The median age of the parolees was 40. The youngest parolee was a 26-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2019, and the oldest was a 58-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2020.

The offender incarcerated the longest was Alex E. Pulliam. He was convicted of a property crime in 2019 when he was 24 years old. He is now 26.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the second quarter of 2021 in each Alexander County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
