City of Anna City Council met June 1.

The Anna City Council met in special session at Anna City Hall at 4:45 p.m. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Steve Hartline. The roll call went as follows: Present were Commissioner Bryan Miller, Commissioner Martha Ann Webb and Mayor Steve Hartline. Commissioner Kathy Bryan and Commissioner Michael Bigler were absent.
Commissioner Michael Bigler entered the meeting at 4:48 pm.
A public hearing was held regarding the Downstate Small Business Stabilization Grant Close Out. No one from the community attended. City Administrator Dori Bigler stated that the grant was for $11,000.00 to the Enchanted Garden. The outcome of this grant was that the Enchanted Garden was able to remain in business through the COVID Executive Orders.
A motion was made by Commissioner Miller and seconded by Commissioner Bigler that it be RESOLVED THAT THE SPECIAL SESSION OF THE ANNA CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF JUNE 1, 2021 BE ADJOURNED AT 5:01 P.M. A vote was taken upon the motion with the following results. Commissioner Bigler, Commissioner Miller, Commissioner Webb and Mayor Hartline voted yea. Nay – none. Mayor Hartline declared the motion carried.
