New Simpson Hill District Board of Education Met April 27.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

President Hoffard called the special board meeting of April 27, 2021, to order at 5:30PM.

Present were: Hoffard, Mize, Hill and Widowski. Craig, Ross, and Treat were absent.

Administration present: Mr. Nighswander. Visitors present: Cody Baity

Motion by Hill seconded by Widowski to approve the minutes of the 04-15-21 regular board meeting, carried.

Motion by Hill seconded by Widowski to approve the election canvas as presented and proclaim the following winders for terms beginning immediately: Cody Baity (4-yr); Faye Mize (4-yr); Mark Ross (4-yr); Barry Treat (4-yr), carried.

President Hoffard administered the Oath of Office.

Motion by Mize seconded by Hill to adjourn sine die at 5:34, carried.

At 5:35, President Hoffard called the newly assembled board to order. Present were: Hoffard, Mize, Hill, Widowski, and Baity. Ross and Treat were absent. Administration present: Mr. Nighswander

Motion by Hoffard seconded by Mize to appoint Joe Nighswander as President pro-term and Faye Mize as the secretary pro-term, carried.

Motion by Hill seconded by Widowski to appoint Vince Hoffard as President of the New Simpson Hill Board of Education, carried.

Motion by Mize seconded by Widowski to appoint Ryan Hill as Vice-President of the New Simpson Hill Board of Education, carried.

Motion by Hoffard seconded by Widowski to appoint Faye Mize as Secretary of the New Simpson Hill Board of Education, carried.

Motion by Mize seconded by Baity to adopt the policies and procedures of the previous board, carried.

Motion by Hill seconded by Widowski to approve the 2021-22 meeting dates as presented, carried.

Motion by Hill seconded by Widowski to adjourn, carried.
