The regular meeting of the Vienna Public School District #55 Board of Education was called to order by president, Sherie Smith at 6:00 p.m. with the following members present.

Motion by Trovillion seconded by Borders to approve the consent agenda as presented.

Motion by Borders seconded by Betts to go in to closed session at 6:52 p.m. to discuss (1) the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of employees of the District or legal counsel for the District including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee of the District or against legal counsel of the District, to determine its validity. Roll call. Voting yes: Borders, Trovillion, Yadloski, Hook, Smith, Betts, Johnson. Voting no: none. Motion carried.
Motion by Betts seconded by Borders to come out of closed session and return to regular open session at 7:35 p.m. Roll call. Voting yes: Borders, Trovillion, Yadloski, Hook, Smith, Betts, Johnson. Voting no: none. Motion carried.

School Fees
School fees and changes to the fees were discussed.
Resignation
Sherie Smith read a letter of intent to retire from Vicki Ross, part-time cook.
Motion by Yadloski seconded by Trovillion to accept the resignation of Vicki Ross, parttime cook as of the end of the school year. Roll call. Voting yes: Borders, Trovillion, Yadloski, Hook, Smith, Betts, Johnson. Voting no: none. Motion carried.
Approve Athletic Budget
Motion by Betts seconded by Hook to approve the 2021-22 athletic budget as presented.
Roll call. Voting yes: Borders, Trovillion, Yadloski, Hook, Smith, Betts, Johnson.
Voting no: none. Motion canied.
Board Member Committees
The discussion of board committees was tabled.
Set Budget Hearing
Motion by Betts seconded by Borders to set a budget hearing for the FY21 amended budget for June 14, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. Roll call. Voting yes: Borders, Trovillion, Yadloski, Hook, Smith, Betts, Johnson. Voting no: none. Motion carried.

Mrs. Smith read a thank you letter for the food and gift for Teacher Appreciation Week from Jodie Douglas.
The Board wants to recognize Mrs. Brady and the PTO for the planning of support of Fun Day.
