Joppa-Maple Grove United School District #38 Board of Education Met April 14.
Here is the minutes provided by the board:
The Special Board meeting called to order by Kevin Castleman at 6:00 p.m.
All members present: Stacey Reames, Peggy McNeill, Gail Stubblefield, Kevin Castleman, Chris McGinness, and Denise Meyer. Danny Burnett cam in 6:15 p.m.
Also present: Dr. Vickie Artman, Dr. Jeffrey Dufour, Dr. Steve Webb, Rachel Henson, James and May Little, Corey Willenborg, Robert and Terry Fick, Terra Temple, June Cucic, and Ben Schmidt.
Public Comment:
Dr. Steve Webb gave a presentation about his definition of quality education, considerations to save money and support students, and the closure of EEI. He gave the audience his perspective of small rural schools.
Dr. Webb responded to questions from the Board and the public until no further questions were asked.
Motion by Kevin and second by Peggy to adjourn.
All voted yes: M/C
