Say hello to Zeh Wellington, DNP, RN, NE-BC, your Director at Large for ANA-Illinois! Zeh shared the following with us -
Working with the nurses on the front line, I have seen your drive, your determination, your compassion, your optimism, your kindness, your intelligence, and your struggles this past year. Faced with insurmountable challenges, nurses have risen to the challenge and provided exceptional care to our patients and their families. I am privileged to represent every hard-working nurse in our state.
In today’s diverse and ever-changing environment of heath care, nurses must strive to constantly develop skills, establish resources and promote change to compete in the healthcare setting. As a member of the ANA-Illinois, I have the opportunity to lobby for every nurses’ rights, provide information, give support, advocate, connect with fellow leaders and share my experiences.
I am honored to represent you and I hope each nurse in our state will consider joining ANA-Illinois to promote reform, safeguard the needs of nurses, and improve the quality of healthcare that we provide for all.
