Shawnee CUSD 84 School District issued the following announcement on Mar. 18.
Mitchel McLane was recognized at the March meeting for his 8 eights years of service as a school board member. His term expires in April.
School board service is one of the toughest volunteer roles of all. Board members distinguish themselves as stewards of our school district. They are faced with and required to make difficult decisions especially during the pandemic. David Starr Jordan said, “Wisdom is knowing what to do next; virtue is doing it.'
