Q2 2020 Parolee Recap: Who was paroled in Johnson County?

There was one offender released on parole during the second quarter of 2020 that lives in Johnson County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Southern Illinois News.

The data shows that the released offender was a man. He was convicted of a property crime in 2017, when he was 29.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the second quarter of 2020 in each Johnson County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
