Ana-Illinois issued the following announcement on Dec. 3.
Kathryn shared the following about herself -
"Currently, I am the Manager of EMS and Disaster Management at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. My passion is ensuring vulnerable populations are considered in preparedness plans and protected during disasters. Before this, I was the Nurse Manager for Care for the Homeless, a non-profit in New York City that operates clinics delivering quality health care to those experiencing homelessness. I was the Chief of Staff of Health Services during the spring peak of the COVID-19 pandemic and helped manage the emergency operations and logistics with city partners.
When I moved back to Chicago, I knew I wanted to reconnect with ANA-Illinois to learn from other amazing colleagues in this field. ANA-Illinois has been a great platform for professional development, community advocacy, and keeping up to date with the forefront of evidence-based practice."
