Kaskaskia Community College District #501 Board of Trustees met Sept. 28.

ROLL CALL/ATTENDANCE
Chair, Bill Hawley convened the Budget Hearing of the Board of Trustees on Monday, September 28, 2020, at 6:15 p.m. in the Lifelong Learning Center of Kaskaskia College. Trustees present were Jim Beasley, Bill Hawley, Louis Kalert, Jim Mason, Laura Wedekemper, Linda Stover and Student Trustee, Larissa Hoffman. Trustee Bryan Holthaus was absent.
College staff members present included President, George Evans, Dr. Susan Batchelor, Dr. Ashley Becker, Judy Hemker, Jennings Carter, Travis Henson, Craig Roper, Jill Hercules, Todd Wagner, Alan Boerngen, Becky Gossett, Traci Masau, Daniel Powel and Cathy Quick. College Legal Counsel, Dennis Weedman, from Robbins Schwartz was in attendance. Ron Perkins, Safety and Security Officer attended remotely.
Attending remotely from the media was Bryan Hunt from the Breese Journal, Erica Foltz from WKRV in Vandalia. and Bruce Kropp from WJBD Radio.
Vice President of Administrative Services, Judy Hemker gave a detailed report of the proposed FY21 budget.
Motion by Jim Beasley to adjourn the budget hearing. The following members voted yes Jim Beasley, Bill Hawley, Louis Kalert, Jim Mason, Linda Stover, Laura Wedekemper, and Larissa Hoffman. The hearing concluded at 6:35 p.m.
