School Nurses lead health promotion and disease prevention in schools. School nurses can decrease fears and promote prevention of COVID-19, the flu, and other illnesses.
This month’s discussion is lead by a panel of School Nurses who will lead a discussion on the the general role of the school nurse, speak to the educational preparation needed to be a school nurse and the importance of certification, and how has that role shifted or changed with the COVID19 pandemic.
