17 Johnson County residents in their twenties test positive for COVID-19

As of September 27, there have been 17 Johnson County residents in their twenties who have tested positive for COVID-19, according to numbers being reported to the Illinois Department of Public Health.

There have been 368 residents in their twenties in the county who had been tested, meaning that four percent of those tested have the coronavirus. Through September 27, there have been 156 confirmed COVID-19 cases and no deaths from the coronavirus in Johnson County.

Illinois gathers all of its COVID-19 data from across the state electronically. The reported cases and deaths will fluctuate as additional info is gathered. Chicago was home to one of the first known cases of COVID-19 in the US, as well as it's transmission.
