Alto Pass Fire District responded to four calls in 2018 - 20 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Alto Pass included two fires - two structure fires.

In all, the department saw $40,000 in fire loss - or about $20,000 per fire.

The department also received two false calls.
