Analysis: Anna pays $7.29 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Anna Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 87.9 percent of the $293,743 the Anna Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $7.29 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Southern Illinois News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Anna contributed $258,330 to the fund, which saw a $10,161 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $35,413, or 12.1 percent, in 2018.
