Southern Seven Health Department issued the following announcement on June 2.
Participants in the WIC program will soon be able to purchase their benefits electronically with the use of an eWIC card.
Expected to be available in Illinois by the end of summer 2020, the new eWIC delivery system will enable clients to use a WIC card that is similiar to a debit card.
