Lindsey is an exemplary nurse, educator, researcher, clinical expert, and professional role model. She demonstrates transformational leadership that engages students at all levels, energizes and supports colleagues, and advances nursing science – ultimately impacting patient care. As a nurse educator, she possesses an innate and creative ability to engage her students and propel them into new learning dimensions, while generously supporting and encouraging them at the same time. As a nurse researcher, she obtained her PhD in nursing science and has made groundbreaking discoveries in the field of women’s health and pregnancy related illnesses. Lindsey is an active leader in community affairs as she serves on numerous organizations and committees and has been a mentor for all levels of nursing students. She frequently volunteers her time to present and share her knowledge with local schools, career fairs, and youth scout meetings. Lindsey’s vibrant and generous spirit, commitment to excellence, and love for nursing is evident in all she does. She is a light of hope, a voice of reason, and a gift to all who she encounters.
