Village of Goreville issued the following announcement on April 3.
The Goreville Ministerial Alliance Food Bank are in need of donations.
The Village Hall will be opening the outside front door for donations for the food bank, donations may be left in the entry way, Monday thru Friday 8am - 4pm., until this crisis is over.
Items most needed: Individual packs of applesauce, pudding, mac & cheese, cereal, oatmeal.
boxed potatoes, chili, soup, saltine crackers, canned meat, jelly, peanut butter. All donations will be appreciated!!
If you are unable to leave your home and wish to donate, please call village hall at 618-995-2157 and we will arrange to pick it up from your home.
