The regular meeting of the City Council, City of Metropolis, Illinois was held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 27, 2020 in Council Chambers of City Hall at 106 West 5th Street, Metropolis, Illinois. Upon roll call the following Aldermen were present: Alderman Don Canada, Chad Lewis, John Taylor and Darryl Neill, Al Wagner, Jeremy Holley, Mike Hall, Chuck Short, Mayor William McDaniel, City Clerk Jan Adams, Corporate Counsel Rick Abell and concerned citizens of
Metropolis.

MAYOR’S REPORT:
Keith Slusser representing Fick, Eggemeyer and Williamson, CPA presented the audited financial statement to the Council via phone conference. He noted after going over the audit that is was a clean report with no discrepancies.
Moved by Alderman Don Canada and second by Alderman Chad Lewis to accept June 30th, 2019 audited financial statements as presented by Keith Slusser with Fick, Eggemeyer and Williamson, CPA;
