Q2 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Massac County?

There were four offenders released on parole during the second quarter of 2019 that live in Massac County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Southern Illinois News.

The data shows that three men and one woman were released in Massac County. The median age of the parolees was 46. The youngest parolee was a 38-year-old man sentenced for a crime against a person in 2018, and the oldest was a 55-year-old woman sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Diane M. Davis. She was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2017 when she was 52 years old. She is now 55.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the second quarter of 2019 in each Massac County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
