Metropolis Police Department issued the following announcement on Feb. 12.
IL Dept of Conservation will be teaching a hunter safety course. This training is a 2 day course and will be held on March 13th, 6p-9p and March 14 from 8a-2p at the Community Christian Church on Country Club Rd. There is no fee for this course. This will be taught by Mr Larry Sommer. 618-645-0614 for additional information. I do not believe that you need to pre-register.
