New Simpson Hill Community School District 32 Board met Nov. 14.
Here is the minutes provided by the board:
President Hoffard called the regular board meeting of December 13, 2018, to order at 6:00PM.
Present were: Hoffard, Craig, Mize, Hill, Widowski, and Treat. Ross was absent.
Administration present: Mr. Nighswander. Ms. Artmstrong was absent.
Motion by Mize seconded by Craig to approve the minutes of the 11-08-2018 board meeting, carried.
Motion by Mize seconded by Craig to approve and make public record the closed session minutes of the 11-08-2018 board meeting, carried.
Motion by Widowski seconded by Hill to approve the financial report as presented and payment of the bills as listed in the amount of $37,446., carried.
ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS: Enrollment; Calendar; Election timeline; Girls Basketball Regional Tournament
Motion by Mize seconded by Treat to approve the 2018 tax levy as presented, carried.
Motion by Craig seconded by Hill to tentatively approve the FY20 school calendar, carried.
Motion by Craig seconded by Mize to convene to closed session at 7:07 PM to discuss:
•Student Disciplinary Cases. 5 ILCS 120/2c(8) carried.
Motion by Widowski seconded by Hill to resume to open session at 7:26 PM, carried.
Motion by Widowski seconded by Mize to adjourn, carried.
