Goreville Community Unit School District 1 issued the following announcement on Nov. 12.
In the State of Illinois only 2% of the FFA receives the State Degree. Out of that 2% only.08% will receive the American Degree. The American Degree is the highest degree awarded in the FFA in which only the highly motivated and dedicated will achieve this goal. Goreville had 4 members recognized at the FFA National Convention! Congratulations to Jacob Calhoon, Madyson Maze, Kaitlynn Moore, and Zack Kelley for receiving their American Degrees! We are PROUD of you! #BlackcatPride
