City of Anna issued the following announcement on Oct. 18.
Wear your most festive Christmas running gear to the 6th Annual Reindeer 5K Run/Walk on November 30, 2019, registration will begin at 7:15 a.m. and the 5K will begin at 8 a.m. Runners and walkers will begin the race at the Anna Arts Center, 125 West Davie St and head into the "fruit bowl" section of town. The race is a down and back with the start and finish lines at the Anna Arts Center.
There will also be a "Kids Fun Run" that morning starting at 9 a.m. So bring the kids along too! Kids will participate in a short race, approximately 1/4 mile, to catch Rudolf and Santa Claus, then they will have the opportunity to make two crafts to take home. The Fun Run and crafts are free for kids of all ages.
This event will kick off "Christmas in Downtown Anna."
