Shawnee Community College issued the following announcement on June 6.
The Shawnee Community College Alpha Lambda Epsilon chapter of Phi Theta Kappa recently attended the Illinois Regional Convention May 31 through June 2 held at Parkland College in Champaign Illinois.
The chapter won 8 awards including a prestigious Five-star Chapter Award, an Illinois Regional Service Award, Hall of Honor Chapter Officer Awards for Breanna Brasher and Zoey Campanella, an Outstanding Member award for Sharon. Brashear, and a Most Distinguished Chapter Officer Team Award. Phi Theta Kappa sponsor Mr. Craig Bradley was awarded 2 Chapter Advisor awards.
