2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Hardin County?

There were four offenders released on parole during 2018 that live in Hardin County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Southern Illinois News.

The data shows that three men and one women were released in Hardin County. The median age of the parolees was 34. The youngest parolee was a 27-year-old man convicted of a property crime in 2018, and the oldest was a 47-year-old man convicted of a property crime in 2016.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Davy J. Williams. He was convicted of a property crime in 2018 when he was 25 years old. He is now 27.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in 2018 in each Hardin County municipality.
